The 2025 IGSSA WA Rowing season is at it’s conclusion with the Head of the River Regatta Scheduled on Saturday 21st June at Champion Lakes. This event will be streamed live and can be viewed here: Head of the River Livestream
Regatta 4 was contested in perfect conditions at Champion Lakes. The full results from Regatta 4 can be viewed here: Regatta 4 Results. PLC emerged as Regatta 4 Champions, with Perth College claiming second place and St Hilda’s rounding out the top three.
PLC raced strongly in the Senior Quad races in regatta 4, edging out Iona who started the season off strongly. PLC continued to showcase their impressive depth across the senior program, performing strongly in the Senior VIII races, and dominating the Year 10 VIII and Quad divisions.
Perth College’s Freshman crews continued to place highly in both the Freshman VIII and Quad Scull categories, with St Hilda’s showing some strong Freshman Quad performances.
In Year 9, Iona’s crews continued with bold performances, making their presence felt in the Year 9 Quad events and St Hilda’s raced strongly in the Year 9 VIII events at regatta 4.
The Junior and Senior Single Scull events featured some tight racing, with John XXIII, Perth College, and PLC all in strong contention.
