Tri Association All-Star AFL 2025 Competition

The AFL All-Star Competition brings together the top footballers from across the IGSSA, ACC and SSWA Associations, uniting them in a shared passion for the game. It is a fierce competition that is played in great spirit and provides a valuable opportunity for players to showcase their skills in front of AFLW clubs and WAFC talent staff.

Our 2025 IGSSA WA team represented the Association with pride and tackled the day with incredible determination, displaying teamwork and resilience that truly reflects the values of IGSSA.

The first game saw IGSSA WA play the a strong SSWA team. Scores were very tight at half-time, but our IGSSA girls put on a great 2nd half performance and kicked a few unanswered goals to win the game by 15 points.

Playing back-to-back games is always a challenge, and IGSSA faced a very strong ACC line up in Game 2. The ACC got away to a convincing start with early scoreboard, and took control of the game to win by 30 points.

The ACC then played the SSWA in the 3rd game of the round, which was an incredibly tight battle. The SSWA team, having come off a break put great pressure on the ACC team, with both teams finding it hard to score. In the end, the ACC team held strong to take the win by one point, and retain the Title.

  • IGSSA 4.1.25 def SSWA 1.4.10
  • ACC 5.7.37 def IGSSA 1.1.7
  • ACC 2.2.14 def SSWA 2.1.13

The results saw ACC take out the Tri Association Competition once again in 2025, with IGSSA WA placing second and SSWA in Third place.
