The 2025 IGSSA Athletics Carnival was a celebration of skill, determination, and school spirit, with athletes from all eight IGSSA schools competing across a full day of track and field events.
Perth College continued their remarkable run of success, claiming the Overall Champion School title for the third consecutive year. Their depth and consistency were on full display, also securing the Year 7 Pennant, Year 8 Pennant, and the title of Champion Field School.
Methodist Ladies’ College (MLC) were the big improvers, climbing from sixth place last year to finish as Runner Up School in 2025. MLC’s strong performances on the track earned them the honour of Champion Track School, and they also won the Year 9 Pennant.
St Hilda’s Anglican School for Girls rounded out the top three in what was one of the most closely contested carnivals in recent memory, winning both the Year 10 and Year 11/12 Pennants.
Congratulations to all athletes, staff, and officials for contributing to an outstanding day of competition. The enthusiasm, teamwork, and sportsmanship on display truly reflected the IGSSA spirit.
